ELITE PLAYER PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME, MOTSPUR PARK

This multi disciplined project was split into seven distinct and separate areas — site clearance and removal of the existing facilities, new 5,900sq m indoor floodlit training facility, LED floodlighting to the existing natural grass main pitch, new 70-person spectator stand to the arena pitch, provision of a new floodlit FIFA 2 star 3G pitch, creation of a new overflow car park and landscaping works including acoustic barrier fencing.

Blakedown was given responsibility by Fulham FC for the final design and implementation of the above to enable the client to achieve “Elite Player Performance Plan” (EPPP) status, whilst at the same time having a Category 1 Academy Status venue as defined by the Football League.
