PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN WORSLEY

The client brief was to transform the dull and uninspiring small rear garden of their modern, semi-detached home to provide an attractive private space that linked the house to a garden room in their converted garage.

The designer created a terraced area immediately adjacent to and at the level of the rear of the house for outdoor entertaining and used retaining walls with integral planted areas to address the slope up to the garden room, creating two further terraces and steps to allow easy circulation throughout the garden.

The use of granite paving, rendered walls and soft contemporary planting give the garden year-round interest.
