Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Scheme

This category celebrates projects that make a measurable contribution to biodiversity conservation and enhancement, including those undertaken under Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) regulations. The judges are looking for schemes that embrace sustainable development principles and showcase innovative environmental design. Quality and long-term impact are key here!

Successful entries must provide clear evidence of biodiversity net gains and demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. The long-term management strategy should be well-defined, along with proof of the monitoring process. Projects can be standalone or part of a wider environmental improvement strategy, but their boundaries must be clearly outlined and have been completed within the last five years.

Please note that submissions under the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) subcategory must be fully supported by evidentiary documentation, including a baseline survey, biodiversity metric calculations, a gain plan, and at least one year of monitoring data.
